THE PACK HORSE REVIEWS
Eaten at The Pack Horse Today with my Fiancee we went for a walk round Jumbles Country Park then while driving past The Pack Horse we decided to pull in for Lunch. We arrived at Noon and asked for a table for 2 we were quickly seated and I ordered a pint of Moretti and my Fiancée ordered a large Glass of Merlot. We ordered off the Set Menu So I ordered Soup of the Day which was Leek and Potato soup with warm crusty Ciabiatta and butter and my Fiancee ordered Garlic Mushrooms.
Enjoying a fantastic location high on the Lancashire hills above Tottington, Bury and Bolton, the venue is fantastic, bright and airy with lots of space, and a feeling of luxury. The food is excellent, with a wide range of choices catering for tastes of all sorts, and appetites of all sizes, all paired with a good selection of wines and beers.
Very nice pub that also looks like it has accommodation. It's in a great setting and seems to get a lot of cyclists or walkers. Fantastic outside area. The staff were fantastic and very friendly and a good range of food on the menu. Food quality was good, and can't complain about any of it and they are not shy on portion sizes either! Well worth a visit. Will be back.

THE HARE & HOUNDS REVIEWS
We reserved the back room for an event with food. The buffet was excellent, the service very efficient, and there was more than enough, even though the event was better attended than expected. There is a wide range of drinks, including non alcoholic, to cater for every taste, and there was a real buzz about the place, which was fuller than I expected on a Tuesday night. All up, a good place to go, and higgly recommended.
Really nice pub with great food and service. Good parking and nice scenery. If you are vegan, then you will be well catered for Loved this pub really nice atmosphere.
Great range of real ales in good condition. Food very well price. Steak and ale pie, looked home made. Brilliant. Staff friendly and very efficient. Wife had chicken and ham pie. Said very good.

THE BLACK BULL REVIEWS
Lovely atmosphere. Food delicious and nothing was too much trouble for our waitress Megan. She was helpful and very friendly and always had a smile. Definitely recommend to anyone. The photos showing the cheese and onion pie and chips and the pork loin were the small potions.
Great beer and good atmosphere. I'm told the food is also good but I've never tried it personally. Definitely worth a visit.
