The Winter Gardens is a well-regarded pub, housed in a spacious 19th-century building characterized by high ceilings and adorned with potted plants. It is known for its selection of real ales and classic pub fare. Originally a part of Harrogate's former Royal Baths, the Winter Gardens was constructed to provide visitors with a space to unwind and take leisurely strolls regardless of the weather. Its historical significance is preserved in the name of this Wetherspoon pub. In the 1920s, patrons could enjoy a relaxing atmosphere surrounded by potted palms, accompanied by music from a grand piano. During the 1930s, the Municipal Orchestra treated visitors to daily morning performances throughout the year, with free admission extended to patients of the baths.

THE WINTER GARDENS REVIEWS
We booked the function room for our wedding reception. The room is beautiful and with a few decorations it looked amazing. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and were incredibly helpful and patient with us. We had an assortment of pizza and chips for our guests to nibble on and when the pizzas were all gone (because they were so nice) they quickly sent some more through. This is an amazing venue in the centre of Harrogate with very reasonable prices, great if your on a budget.
Excellent pub in a beautiful large spacious building with plenty of outside seating. Great location in centre of Harrogate with large pay & display car park right next to it. All the usual Weatherspoon’s features you know & love.
Called in to tick it off the list. It's a Wetherspoons with a touch of 'panaché'. Looks nothing from the outside but the inside has been tastefully converted. Nice beer garden at the back, downstairs toilets with awesome copper sinks, the ladies apparently has two couches for a girly gossip! Would love to go back when I can afford the parking!! Good old Harrogate council, the vermin are out even on father's day.

THE FAT BADGER REVIEWS
The Fat Badger has to be one of my favourite pubs in the country. Every time we come to Harrogate, we always visit this fantastic pub. The atmosphere is cosy yet debonair. Wonderful lighting and decor. Good cocktails, I enjoyed my old fashioned. I also ordered the vegan tacos, but I scoffed them before taking a picture as they were delicious. It just so happens to be adjoined to my favourite hotel, which is a lovely, fantastic hotel.
Love the scampi in mustard sauce. We arrived around 1pm and theres plenty of tables. The steak is really tender and the atmosphere is pretty chilled and relaxed. Definitely would come again for special occasions.
Everything was just great. The mouth-watering food, the cozy, fire-crackling atmosphere, great customer service. A bit on the pricey side but worth it. Only thing I'd like to see more British on the menu like it used to be.

MAJOR TOM'S SOCIAL REVIEWS
Stopped here based on a recommendation by the guesthouse. Love the pizza and great (chilled vibe). The barman even gave me a few tasters of the local ale as I'm new to the UK. and took his time to explain each one. Will definitely be back.
Very happy with the overall experience. Nice selection of beers, food tasty and well prepped. Had pizza of the week, salad and some kids pizzas. Great pizza base and fresh toppings. Staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Kid-friendliness: Free pizza for kids on Sundays. (At time of review) high chairs etc.
What a brilliant bar, great music and staff. Bar looks cool as owt, staff are amazingly friendly and beers are nice with couple of shots thrown in. 100% recommend.
