They say Chelsea Physic Garden is one of London's secret gardens which it is snugly tucked away in upmarket Chelsea but very accessible by public transport. It was founded in 1673 as the Apothecaries' Garden for the purpose to train apprentices in the use and identification of medicinal plants. I would strongly recommend taking the tour which is included in the price of the ticket as the volunteer guides are a fount of knowledge which is delivered in an easy understandable and humorous manner.

We found this place informative, thought provoking and fun. We went primarily to seek out artefacts for a related art project but discovered way more than we anticipated including computerised surveys dotted along the way asking our views on the army and its role today. For someone from the military, the displays may seem less detailed or a little cursory but we found the exhibits really interesting and our two teenage girls came out having enjoyed it. A lovely modern, airy space.

Went to see The Twits, with my daughter (25), who loved this story being read to her, as a toddler! The theatre was small and intimate and the perfect setting for this play. The scenery was brilliantly done, but the cast were exceptional!! We did not stop laughing from beginning to end! I must admit this matches my sense of humour and the actors playing the twits were absolutely brilliant! Especially Mr Twit - hysterical!!! Giving the location of the theatre, we were surprised to pay.
