I thoroughly enjoyed learning and seeing the history of croydon its easy to get to and easy to find. Its free of charge and also a good day out to take the children. There was a lot that I didn't know about Croydon but this museum was really good. The cafe is really good too they serve hot and cold food really enjoyed my lunch at the clock tower. I would defo recommend for everyone to go and visit the museum especially if you are a resident of the borough as it would help really appreciate.

We went to the Croydon Airport Museum for my husband's birthday. We were lucky as it is only open the first Sunday of the month, which happened to be his birthday. We stayed the Saturday night at the Hallmark Hotel nextdoor, which was nice. We live near Croydon but thought we'd treat ourselves. My hubby is very into aeroplanes and airports and he really enjoyed the museum, run by volunteers. Everybody gets a guided tour in small groups. There is a model of the airport as it looked.
