If you're looking for a relaxing escape while in London than make a visit to Fulham Palace. Located on the Thames, Fulham Palace is rich in history dating back to the early 8th century! It's the historic home of the Bishops of London, with the last Bishop moving out in 1973. It's a beautiful building, surrounded by lovely botanic gardens. Lots of shade, and also wide open spaces for a picnic or the children to run around. Really nice cafe onsite (Drawing Room), and it neighbours the popular.

I'm a massive Chelsea fan and this just had to be done. First off, I was there in September and my stadium tour was scheduled for a Saturday, unfortunately there was a bombing in the tube on Friday and the tours were cancelled. Luckily enough, Chelsea were accommodating and rescheduled the tour for the Monday. So very glad they did, cause it was the highlight of my London trip. The tour guide was incredible and had so much passion for the club. He had been a supported for 47 years.

The ground's current capacity is 25,700, all-seated, though the record attendance is 49,335, for a game against Millwall - It was originally a royal hunting lodge and has history dating back over 300 years

Visited Craven Cottage for the fourth or fifth time to watch my team Aston Villa play. Getting to the ground is easy and actually very pleasant. A short walk from Putney Bridge tube station you walk through a park adjacent to the River Thames. The ground itself is quaint. Stewarding and policing is excellent and there are areas where fans of both clubs can mix and chat about the game. The view of the pitch is excellent and isn't spoilt by stantions or pillars. An excellent ground.
