TOP 3 TOBY CARVERY BASILDON REVIEWS

First time we have been there. My son had been there before. Went on Easter Sunday for lunch. Had plenty of light, the staff was very warm and friendly. We live in Chelmsford and the Toby Carvery is not like Basildon at all. We would definitely go back to Basildon Toby Carvery again. Might try the breakfast.

Really nice food. Everything very well cooked. Meats were not dry at all.Gravy was brilliant, and the Yorkshire puddings were excellent as well. Waited a long while.. but it was a Sunday at 6/7.. so obviously everyone wants to come and grab a roast. Had a drink while waiting, nice atmosphere, not too loud. Excellent!!

My partner and I had a wonderful time. Our meal was hot,tasty and there was a good selection of meats and veg. The gravy was nice and of a good consistency. The staff were attentive, respectful and knowledgeable and exceeded my expectations.

Went for a meal while visiting family on a Wednesday evening didn't need to wait long for the table even though we hadn't booked and was seated in a nice little area. Really attentive service especially by our host Samantha who went to great lengths to make sure everything was OK for our allergy guest. Great credit to the kitchen as well.

Delicious foods. Free unlimited salad was amazing. Service was great. So friendly. Atmosphere was excellent. Dinner was delicious and large portions. Enough space to park. Recommend for dinner with friends and family.

Breakfast, dad and 2 teenagers. One Ultimate English Breakfast for £10, some pancakes with bacon and maple, and a bacon roll. Everyone very happy, English breakfast was huge and very good although scrambled eggs were a bit lack luster in comparison. Overall high quality, would definitely visit again.

Amazing restaurant, beautifully decorated and lovely food. We came on Valentine’s Day with the tables set with candles and chocolates, which was a nice addition. Has so many vegetarian options which was great as a vegetarian! Food was quick, and the atmosphere was lovely. My partner had a chicken and bacon burger which he enjoyed and i had the halloumi burger which i enjoyed too. As well as this the prices were very reasonable with 2 cocktails for just under £12! Definitely will come back!

Loved it here! We had the Shakshuka which was delicious. The decor is quirky and different but lovely. The staff were all so friendly which really lifted the experience. Breastfeeding friendly too. The place was clean and well lit too. We will definitely go back. New favorite in Basildon for sure!

Food was absolutely gorgeous and very filling, I had the Big lounge breakfast and never disappoints me added extra mozzerella and sweetcorn fritters which were amazing. The service from Rosh and Sarah was both welcoming and friendly.
