Fantastic service provided by Rich. Having a Semi Automatic gearbox on my Vauxhall Vivaro, no other garage in Ripon or the surrounding areas wanted to even entertain me. Thankfully Gills Autos was recommended to me by a friend and they said no bother at all and booked it in. The gearbox was randomly dropping into neutral whilst driving, Rich has done a full gearbox service and changed all oils and checked over the Tiptronic “Robot” on the gearbox. I’m pleased to say it’s now smooth as silk and back to how it should be. He even pointed out an issue with the spare wheel carrier whilst he was under the van and has sorted that out for free, can’t ask for anymore great service provided!

Cannot recommend highly enough. Gills Auto Services fixed my car in emergency today - so grateful. Fantastic service as always - thank you Tom! These guys are always helpful, bend over backwards for you and are really reasonably priced.

Was having issues whilst on holdiay. Broken fan belt. Turned up at Gills Auto and Neil fixed it for me within the hour. Saved my holiday!!

A great garage. Had a pre MOT check, spot on, very informative and friendly chat about the result, mind at rest for the actual MOT, now booked, observed while I was waiting how the staff interacted with other customers, very friendly and as far as I could tell very informative. Definitely my local garage now.

Definitely my go to for any problems with a car. All the staff are friendly and go out of their way to help - and to explain any issues in an understandable way.Can't fault Justin and his team, friendly professional an considerate.
