2025 Update: St. Patrick's Church certainly existed as early as 500 A.D. The glorious Gothic church of St. Patrick's Church, on Chapel Hill, elevated on the site of the earlier church for £13,000, is certainly one of the landmarks of Lisburn city and is cherished by visitors as a magnificent, spacious, and gorgeous church. St. Patrick's Church was dedicated on 10th June 1900, and the church remained with the tower unfinished from 1900 till 1932. In the entrance of the church, you can see the memorial to The Very Rev Mark McCashin, who started the construction of the church.
