2025 Update: St. Lawrence’s Church strives to be friendly and inclusive. They offer a warm welcome to all. Revd. Canon Philip Brent is the Vicar. The church was supposedly dedicated to St Mary until 1392, when it was appropriated to Revesby Abbey. The oak pews of the old church were installed in 1886 and were preserved in 1913. The tower is early 13th century, in spite of the fact that the top was rebuilt after the ‘steeple' fell in 1602. St. Lawrence’s Church has three bells. The church is wheelchair accessible. The main body of the church seats 355 people. They also have 30 movable chairs in the Healey Chapel and an additional 36 seats for clergy and choir.
