Salisbury Cathedral is revered as one of the most spiritually significant churches, bearing the additional name "Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary." This Anglican Cathedral serves as the official seat of the Bishop of Salisbury and also holds the distinction of being a pilgrimage center, drawing in approximately 100,000 visitors annually. Noteworthy is the cathedral's clock, a substantial iron-framed timepiece that needs a conventional dial. Salisbury Cathedral extends a warm welcome to all who enter its doors, with a commitment to enhancing both local and global church and community life, addressing issues of inequality, and promoting learning, personal development, and spiritual growth within the diocese. Annually, the cathedral magnetizes 250,000 pilgrims and visitors, offering them the opportunity to contemplate the serenity and grandeur of this 750-year-old structure while appreciating the highest level of spiritual presence that Britain has to offer.

SALISBURY CATHEDRAL REVIEWS
The cathedral is very impressive. Pay attention that parking next to the cathedral (after the ancient stone gate) costs 8 pounds a day. There are no options for shorter stays. The parking officer recommended us leave the car on the next street over if we wanted to pay less. We haven’t been inside the cathedral.
Booked online to go on the Tower tour. It was worth every penny. Over 300 steps over three flights of steps. What a fantastic view from the top and to see behind the scenes. A tremendous amount of information was provided by John, thank you I would recommend this to anyone who is not scared of heights
We came to see the cathedral because we saw the movie 'Pillars of the earth'. Even though the story is different from reality the cathedral is absolutely worth the visit. Volunteers guide through the cathedral regularly and tell very interesting stories. The tower tour is an absolute must! Kathi is such a funny guide we can really recommend her tour! Thank you very much for having us!

ST THOMAS’S CHURCH REVIEWS
This historic church may be overlooked with cathedral so prominent though it is older. It was built for cathedral builders in 13th century and is still a parish church. The doom painting over chancel arch a striking attraction with its heaven and hell depictions on judgement day. There to influence people who couldn't read. The coat of arms of Elizabeth 1 with Tudor dragon displayed and, in a side chapel, monuments to wealthy merchants with numerous children. Interesting detail in nave pillar capitals. The churchyard, accessed from the street, has headstones and Tudor quarterjacks on the tower striking the quarter hours.
Pop in here on Saturday. Was a beautiful church but it was a joy to see it also being used as coffee gathering place. It had such a happy vibe. And to Kelvin the vicar....you were a joy to meet. From Jo in Glastonbury
The christmas tree festival was what first enticed us in but this church is stunning. Well worth a visit such a stunning little church sat in the shadows of its famous neighbour.

St Paul's Church is a vibrant, family-oriented Anglican Church firmly rooted in the teachings of the Bible. Situated on the northwestern outskirts of the city, St Paul's Church is dedicated to the pursuit of encountering God, equipping His people, and expanding His Kingdom. Within the church, notable features like the font and other monuments have been carefully restored from the now-demolished St. Clement's church. Additionally, a new tower has been meticulously constructed to exact dimensions, allowing it to accommodate the bell frame and the six bells from the old church. Throughout the week, the church is a hub of activity, offering various courses, engaging in community programs, and hosting numerous activities. The warm and welcoming congregation includes extraordinary individuals who make newcomers feel at home. The Sunday service blends elements of both traditional and contemporary worship, creating a harmonious and inclusive experience.

There is so much love and joy in this church and community. There are such wonderful people and they make you feel at home right away. If you have young kids to teenagers there are groups that go out which are really interactive and the youth leaders are incredible.
The accommodation for the presentation was clean, warm and welcoming. Good food was served and the presentation on 'God and science'was educational, informative and fruitful discussion followed.
Friendly and welcoming church, with a modern approach to a traditional service. Brilliant sermon to inspire and promote the Christian message.
