Called in today to purchase 4 identical pairs of mens pants .Whilst just about to self scan received a phone call about my sisters death .I went to pieces trying to scan an assistant came scanned them for me and I noticed one of the pairs wasn't the same and was scanning at a higher price .Without any fuss she took charge and arranged a refund..I'm so sorry in my distress I didn't say thanks or get her name but she was very professional and brilliant customer service. The pants fitted brilliantly and were a bargain ...

I have lived in St. Helens for over a year, and for some weird reason, I always thought this store was closed! Well, that changed recently, and I visited yesterday.. There are a lot of sale items and great bargains for a lot of items. The home section is amazing and had more items than I expected. I had read the reviews before visiting and was ready for the wait at checkout. I also noted the staff chatting on the floor but had no issues with that. They were quite helpful when called upon. All in all, it was a good first visit, and I would definitely come back...

Love Matalan. Good selection of clothes for all ages and genders and always good value for money.

Weren't to impressed in-store as I'm a size 9 shoe and I couldn't find 1 pair in store but needed so.e for wedding , so I ended up going home and ordering online and collecting next day.

Lovely choice of clothes my grandaughter and myself never come out without a purchase good value for money!

Great place to shop! Excellent customer service too. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent service very helpful young lady checked around other stores for availability for item not in stock plus placed order for delivery to store.

Staff so helpful good range of fashionable cloths from size 6to ladies 16 and some 18..good range of foot wear..and accessories..from head to toe all you need under the one shop good size changing rooms to and lift to means wear and click and collect down fall no childrens wear..

Love river island really friendly staff had gone in to collect an online purchase but had a browse and ended up buying a top whilst there.
