“2025 Update: Dawson's Academy of Dance & Stage is a Dance and Stage Academy providing training for children and students in all angles of the performing arts for ages from 3 years. The dance school has been teaching for 38 years. They perform enough hits from stage and TV musicals in their 'Time to Shine' show. The Director and principal of the dance school is Miss Dawn Dawson, who is a fully Registered Member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. Over the past 38 years, the pupils have become visible on many famous stages. Dawson's Academy of Dance & Stage received accreditation from the Bolton Council with the Bolton Gold Mark and was awarded by the Bolton Council's Sport, Health and Inclusion Service, which recognises the advancement and dedication of clubs that are considered safe, effective, and child-friendly. They provide free introductory trial classes and offer over 130 classes per week.”

What a fantastic week!!! So organised and Miss Hannah’s energy is contagious… really organised and well planned with something new every day My little girl has smiled from ear to ear and not stopped talking about the show day, she’s danced and sang been up early and raring to each morning! Thank you to all involved and we will definitely be seeing you in September! The photo shows the Harc love! Big squishes Edith and mum xx.

It is a very professional dance studio that focuses on the child's progress in dance, and there is a good balance between structure and fun! The overall environment of a dance studio is warm, comforting and inviting. Qualified, Fantastic and friendly teachers My daughter loves going there and still can't decide who's her favourite teacher.:) She's counting the minutes from one lesson to another. I cannot recommend highly enough. Great value, too. Thank you, Harc, for what you are doing.

I love going to Hannah’s adult dance class every Tuesday. It’s great to learn a new routine every month for variety, and there’s a fun friendly atmosphere which always improves my mood if I’ve had a hard day at work. The routines and song choices are great too!ning and it’s great to see her enjoyment and confidence growing and growing!.

My 2.5yr old went to her trial session this morning... WOW! What an amazing company!! So professional. All the teachers were really encouraging and every kid in the class was so happy and involved. We will 100% be back. My little girl keeps saying “best class ever” and it really was. Made up Thank you x.

Wow!! An absolutely amazing Matilda themed summer school. Our 9 year old loved every minute and finished off with an incredible performance to enjoy too. Thank you so much xx.

My daughter came for her first session last weekend and absolutely loved it. She has been asking to come back and she was welcomed by the group. Its a lovely set up at the studio! x.

Fantastic school for performing arts. My daughter has been going since she was 3 and is now 10. Ballet, Tap, Modern Street Choir and Drama with Show classes it got everything you need. Miss Dawn has the childrens best interest at heart and is always trying her best to make sure all the children are included in everything. The theatre course at the victoria hall is ran by an amazing team of teachers as part of the academy who help raise money for the Victoria Halls. Perfect for anyone who has a passion to be on stage.

Amazing dance school with supporting dance teachers. My daughter has been attending the school for nearly 10 years now and enjoys every lesson. It offers a great variety of dance styles and as well as a well rounded musical theatre training, from private singing lessons to drama. It also offers opportunities for the children to perform on stage which is great for confidence building. I musts say it is not just a dance school- this is a dance family with friendships built for life. Thank you to all the teachers, support staff and Miss Dawn for all the hard work over the years.

My daughter has been coming to Dawsons for 7 years & started when she was 4 years old doing ballet. The teachers are always amazing! They fully support all the children, their dedication & commitment is unquestionable when it comes to exams & stage shows. My daughter now does practically most classes that are on offer and loves every minute. It truly is a dance family.
