“Walsall Academy of Dance offers classes for all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced. Miss Christa Collard, the principal of the school, takes pride in their students' high expectations, effort, and excellent exam results. The school hosts annual performances, shows, and examinations for their students. Walsall Academy of Dance believes that a good dance education provides much more than the ability to perform movements. They use four studios at their Butts Street location, where parents can relax in the café, which serves good coffee while classes are on. Their studios are available for hire and are perfect for all dance and exercise classes, featuring sprung floors, music systems, and heating. Walsall Academy of Dance also includes two waiting areas, The Pointe Café, The Walsall Dance Shop, secure entry, and nearby parking.

My daughter has recently started with dance city I wasn’t sure how she would be at a young age & with limited socialisation over lockdown but I needn’t have worried, she settled in straight away with Tracy & the teachers, they were so inviting & friendly. Now a few weeks in it fills my heart with pride to see her so confident & excited learning her new moves...now she asks me every day if it’s time for dance class...!!Looking forward to lots more dancing to come.

Both my daughters attend dance city, they take different classes and love it. They enjoy the classes, are passing their exams to a good standard, love the teachers . A lovely dance family . Would definitely recommend x.

My daughter’s have been dancing here for years. It is like a close knit family and I love how everyone helps each other. Miss Christa is an excellent, diligent principal who brings a wealth of knowledge. She is a credit to the academy.

Great adult ballet and tap classes. A wonderful teacher who takes account of all abilities and makes the class really enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to any person wanting to learn to dance or just move their bodies. No judgement and a warm welcome from other class members.

The most fantastic dance school around. Their care over lockdown was particularly incredible. Professional teachers who can’t do enough for you and a principal who really cares about her students. Wholeheartedly recommended.

An amazing dance school! I genuinely cannot express how amazing Chloe and Laura are, dance principals that care and engage with all that walk through the doors! The opportunities I have been a part of since joining RDS are unreal, Performing at Disneyland Paris, Dancing on stages such as Blackpool Winter Gardens, Birmingham Hippodrome, London O2, Alton Towers and sooo many more! I couldn’t wish for a better dance family!.

My daughter is 3 years old, and she loves going to dance classes, this place is the best I've been able to find for her. It begins its new stage within the dance, and this place is great. I was afraid that she wouldn't feel good, because she is very shy and English is not her first language, but she loves going to classes and I feel good that she likes going, so I highly recommend this place. Try it, you won't regret it.

Such an amazing dance school. My daughter’s confidence and ability has come so far since she started with RDS. The teachers are amazing and the studio is friendly and welcoming to everyone.
