Tara has supported us to transform our relationship with Finn. She is dog centred in her approach, compassionate, analytical and has great attention to detail. Her communication and support both face to face and on WhatsApp are brilliant. Her knowledge as to how to guide guardians with dogs who have complex issues and behaviours has been transformational for us. When we first approached Tara, we were at a bit of a loss and were struggling to know how best to support our 2.5 year old Labrador who had experienced very high levels of arousal since he was a puppy. Finn had also just had both hips replaced due to hip dysplasia. His needs were complex and we needed some specialist support to know how to move forwards. Tara helped us to understand the impact of long-standing pain on his levels of arousal and re-consider our expectations of both Finn and ourselves and how we set Finn and ourselves up for success. We are now a year on. With Tara’s guidance and support Finn is calmer and more focussed, yet still his wonderful, exuberant self. We are still on a journey with Finn, but grateful for Tara’s continuing support and guidance. We would have no hesitation in recommending Tara to anyone who is uncertain about how to support their four-legged friend to be the best version of themselves they can possibly be.

Canine Cues is an amazing service! Sarah really knows her chosen subject and loves working with all dogs focusing on positive reinforcement. I meet with her regularly on a 1:1 basis (with Rascal) and also attended her group classes. From my own experiences Sarah's fees are extremely reasonable. She could easily raise her costs and still be underpriced for the knowledge imparted. Her service is both personable and personal whilst remaining professional. She will go out of her way to ensure that both you and your dog are comfortable and happy in the learning environment of your choosing. While Rascal (he's a Labradoodle) is not an ASBO case he is fairly high-energy with a short concentration span when other fogs are present. Also, being part French (doodle) he needs a lot of attention. He likes to be sociable which can be quite disruptive to any group setting. I myself can be a challenging personality but Sarah copes well with us both, managing to impart her great wisdom in a friendly manner although I may have to pay for her therapy at a later date. In my humble opinion Canine Cues provides everything you need to teach your beloved family member.

Sarah has been working with Lola for about a year and is an extended part of Lola’s family! Her genuine excitement and enthusiasm about spending time with our bonkers pup is infectious. Sarah is really knowledgeable and has helped us so much with Lola’s behaviour, teaching us how to manage it just as much (if not more) than teaching Lola. She always takes the time to have a chat at the start and end of a walk, to ask how Lola has been that week, and to feedback how their walk went. Sarah is very open to me asking her for help and suggestions and always has an answer when I’ve been exasperated with Lola’s puppy behaviour. Lola is now much happier on a lead, knows what’s expected of her when people arrive, and she looks forward to her walks with Sarah as the highlight of her week. My only wish is that Sarah ran a kennel too!
