We have just completed the Zero to Hero program with our dog Bingo. Bingo is a rescue pup that we rescued from Poland. Bingo was found on the street and we don’t have much information of his background and what he’s been through. When Matt first met Bingo he was a dog that was going a hundred miles an hour. It’s safe to say he was bouncing of the walls. Within two sessions Bingo became a calm and settled dog. Bingo became a happy dog. Now with the completion of Zero to Hero Bingo is walking safely off lead. He is no longer the reactive dog that would go for anything that moves, and walks with Bingo have become even more of a pleasure. We could not recommend Matt enough, with his help our dog is now a Hero.

Matt came over today to help train my 10 month old rottie. He started his training from the get go and had amazing results in the first 20 mins. Archie struggles with basic commands but absolutely smashed all he was set to do. Will definitely be seeing Matt again. Highly recommend.

I contacted Matt for help with our newly rescued girl. Matt was amazing from start to finish, he taught me to teach her! Within the first session she was lying calmly watching the swans and geese that she had been reacting too for months! Our border collie Meg went for two weeks residential training. (She had already been somewhere else for two weeks before Absolute Obedience and she came back worse). From the first telephone consultation I knew I was making the right decision. Ashley was very friendly and straight talking. Meg is my third collie and I class myself as being quite capable with training etc. However I just couldn’t crack Meg even from day one of bringing her home. Meg is a very anxious dog and I don’t think this will ever change but finally we can enjoy walks with her! All credit to Absolute Obedience! She had zero recall and was reactive to other dogs on walks. It was really spoiling life not being able to enjoy our walks. My main issue was recall. Her recall now is immense. I was walking with a friend and her dog in the woods last week (Megs training was back in August) and a couple came towards us in their posh country attire haha without a dog so we instantly called our dogs back to stop them jumping up - Meg especially spun on her heels to return to us from quite a distance. When the couple passed us they commented on what amazing recall our dogs had. You still have to continue the training once home but sending Meg to AO was the best thing we’ve done. Meg is now off the lead all the time in the forest and on the beach. All thanks to AO!

We left our dog Bo with Ashleigh for a 2 week residential and he came back a changed boy. He is way calmer and follows commands especially with recall which before he just ignored us! We are keeping up with the work as it doesn't finish once you pick him up, it's a work in progress! But hands up to Ashleigh who changed our boy for the best. We are very happy with the work she has done.

We sent our 1 year old cockapoo Milo to the 2 week residential board and train, when he came back to us he changed and was much calmer and obedient, Before he came he had excitement reactivity and was pulling on the lead with no recall and basic manners, We will carry on his training as its still a work in progress! He overall now is more calm and it is a pleasure to take him on walks and to the parks off leash, We had progress videos on Milo sent to us and pictures everyday, showing us his new different skills, and to say we are very happy with his progress, Ash was very helpful and trained Milo well. I would highly recommend obsolete obedience & Ash the trainer to anyone who needs there dog trained, Thank you very much.
