I passed my driving test first-time today after 50+ hours of manual driving lessons with Dave over the last six months. Before this, I had three other driving instructors and was on and off with learning to drive. What made the difference with Dave was his clear, structured approach to lessons. I could see where improvements were being made and what the next step toward becoming an independent driver was. The use of a companion app also helped monitor my progress, access relevant resources and videos provided by Dave, and keep track of the admin side, including payments. Dave is very knowledgeable and shared all the details about taking the test in Exeter, including booking my test and taking me around the test routes. This familiarity with the roads really helped on test day. As an instructor, Dave is very calm and patient, allowing me to feel comfortable learning from my mistakes. He frequently highlighted areas for improvement and debriefed with me, ensuring I got the most out of each lesson. If there was anything specific I wanted to focus on, he was always more than happy to help. Overall, my experience with Dave has been excellent. He has been professional, communicative, and approachable. I highly recommend having lessons with Dave for anyone learning to drive.
