Mom wanted us to help her arrange and pay for her own funeral with Golden Charter, which we did with L Tranters & son Funeral Directors in 2019. The whole process was made very simple for us and we were very impressed with the professional service we received. When Mom passed away everything went so smoothly, the greatest of care was taken with Mom and arrangements for her funeral were made very swiftly by Olivia, who showed the greatest of compassion at a very sad time for us. We were kept up to date with everything to do with the funeral, nothing was too much trouble and we were so well taken care of. On the day of the funeral we were so impressed by the team who couldn’t do enough for us and the greatest of compassion was shown to us all throughout. It was made such a memorable day for which we were so grateful and we would most highly recommend the services of this company.

From start to finish this firm dealt with everything, I dealt with Symon mostly. All stress was taken away from me. (So I could grieve), Fantastic communication and service from Tranters. They did an excellent job. My mum's funeral was perfect. They are very sympathetic and understanding. I highly recommend. Thank you Symon and everyone involved.

I have already recommended Hilton's Funeral Directors to others for their loved ones. Louris couldn't have done more to ease the pain of my mothers unexpected passing. From our first contact right through the process, Louris was on hand, day and night. Us not having experienced this before, Louris walked us through the process step by step, and was there for us throughout. Even when challenges arose out of her control, she stepped in to ensure all went smoothly and my mum received the greatest respect as soon as she was in Louris's care. Her attention to detail and personal care is exemplary. Myself, my dad and family cannot thank Louris enough for easing the pain of loosing mum, helping turn a painful loss into almost a celebratory experience of her life, with positive lasting memories. Mum would have loved it, and her. We even managed a few laughs along the way!
