John is a highly skilled and dedicated teacher who has helped me greatly improve my playing in just three months. He has a deep understanding of music theory and practical techniques, which he explains clearly and becouse English isn't my first language he often goes out of his way to break things down for me. He is wery patient and dedicated to helping students improve and it shows. In his willingness to work through difficult passages and provide personalized feedback as well as change my schedule becouse of my personal life circumstances. With his expertise, teaching style, and commitment to his student success, I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their guitar skills. In the time we've spent together he has shown me immense talent and unwavering commitment. Hope to keep learning from you for a long time.

I am registered blind and could not find a music teacher who would be willing to teach me. When I spoke to John, his inclusive philosophy meant that he immediately agreed to work with me. He is teaching me to play the piano ‘by ear’ and I am making great progress in just a few months. I have been doing singing lessons with Adam for 2 and a half years now. Adam is great! From the beginning he made me feel comfortable (as like most people, I was very nervous!) and we have tried out a number of different genres and techniques to find out what suits my voice. In the last 2.5 years my ability and confidence has improved so much! I even tried out guitar lessons for a few months which were so much fun. If you are thinking about starting an instrument or singing lessons I can’t recommend The Music Room enough!

I would recommend, I had lessons with Elisha for about a year and she helped me improve my confidence soo much. I feel so much more comfortable singing in front of people and I've learnt some music theory too so now I'm better at using my voice as an instrument and knowing my limitations and capabilities.

Excellent! I had my 1st trial lesson today, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I've already booked to have some more lessons with this school. I am going to continue with these lessons and have fun at the same time. Great school, great teachers, and great staff. Highly recommended!

Martyna is fantastic! She has a really open and warm approach. She’s a talented musical educator. When I started singing lessons I was a beginner and she really helped me gain confidence and even supported me with my first performance! We also just have loads of fun with the music. Her knowledge of musical genres is so varied, so whatever you want to learn, I’m confident Martyna can help you!

I had a lovely session with Martyna. She was very helpful and knowledgeable, and gave me simple challenges to really open up my range. I was able to gain confidence in the top of my register, and have come away with some key tips and tricks to use.
