“2025 Update: The Rock Project is opened by Andy Collins in 2011. Since then, Andy Collins has helped launch new schools across the UK and abroad. The music school offers children, young people and adults the opportunity to learn instruments in a structured, supportive environment. Their professionally led sessions combine expert group tuition with the unique experience of playing in a band, helping students to develop technical skills, confidence, and teamwork. The Rock Project offers a free trial session. They are a fun and inclusive music school for ages 7+. The music school also runs a music quiz every week, and their younger junior students will play some music games.”

This place is a little gemstone and Yatton is so lucky to have it. We popped in here today as they do the best hot chocolates EVER. There was an open mic and the atmosphere was amazing. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love The Note Warehouse, our 8 year old son has been having drum lessons with Dan. it's given him so much confidence and Dan his tutor is fantastic and patient, our son has some additional needs and through Dan's support he's been able to thrive and excel through their love of rock music. Dan really is the most amazing tutor and I can't recommend him highly enough. My treat of the week is a luxury hot chocolate which is very naughty but delicious. This has got to be one of the friendlyist cafes around.

Came to watch the open mic, everything was amazing. They were so welcoming, especially the owner. Had a lovely oat hot choc and a delicious vegan carrot cake. Great options for vegans. Grabbed us a loyalty card too, definitely will be back!

I was intrigued to learn guitar for many years with no idea on how to start. I began having lessons with Sean Booth at the Music Makers Academy back around April 2023 to learn Guitar. I had absolutely no idea how to even tune my guitar let alone play a song. Sean has demonstrated how much can be achieved with weekly dedication and some excellent tutoring. I 100% Recommend The Music Makers Academy for anyone with musical curiosity. I have been inspired & feel maybe one day I can go somewhere.

I visited the Blakehay Theatre to watch my granddaughter perform with the MM Academy yesterday and i was blown away with the talent of all the young people. It was an absolutely marvellous evening, Well done to all those involved for making it happen. And wow, didn't realise Music Makers has been here teaching music for the last 23 years! That's so cool. Makes me want to learn to play the piano.

Great place for learning an instrument. You can learn the most difficult songs there over time from friendly staff.

The rock project team are brilliant. The Fleece is a fab location, and they put together a professional performance with great support and coaching. Awesome opportunity for kids to practice sills and gain confidence playing on stage/ in front of an audience.

A fantastic group with enjoyment at the heart. My son flourished with his guitar through the tutoring and practice time, I have never had to ask him to practice. The opportunity to be part of a real Gig is an excellent incentive too. Well worth it!
