“2025 Update: Happy Stars Babies Private Day Nursery has two dedicated rooms that are designed to meet the needs of different age groups. The Tiny Stars room offers a calm, nurturing space for younger babies who need more individual attention, while the Yellow Stars room provides a larger area for older babies to move freely and explore. Children enjoy a spacious outdoor area with shaded spaces and a covered sandpit, as well as regular visits to Central Park and local walks. Families are encouraged to visit before their baby starts to help build confidence and familiarity. Practitioners receive specialist training to create a stimulating, caring environment for children under two, supporting each child’s individual care and learning needs. Practice is continually reviewed to ensure the highest quality of care, and children transition to Happy Stars Pre-School at around two and a half years old.”

WISE OWL PRIVATE DAY NURSERY REVIEWS

We have had such a positive experience over the last three months our daughter has been at Wise Owl, the settling in process was very easy, both us, as parents, and our daughter are very well supported by staff at all times, we believe she has settled quickly and well and has formed lovely bonds with the staff and her peers! We have seen a lovely progression in our little one's development since she has been at Wise Owl, we would recommend them to any parent looking for a safe, fun and engaging home from home-like environment for their little one.

My daughter is all settled in now. She started in September 2022 and will definitely go to reception next year straight from this nursery. Great teachers, a great environment, and so many educational activities for the pupils. My daughter is still learning most of the things, and I have no doubt that by the time she starts reception, she will be ready for it. She learns new things every day and is becoming more confident when speaking English bit by bit. And oh, they have good and healthy home-cooked meals. Thanks to the staff for their commitment.

My son has attended nursery since he was one, he is now three and in the preschool room. Our son has always been happy at Wise Owls but since the new management team were put in place earlier this year, we have seen a positive difference in both his experience and ours as parents. The new leader of the preschool room has been an amazing addition to the nursery, along with the rest of the team in preschool. They organise amazing activities for the children, my son always comes home talking about how he has been baking, cooking, crafting, looking for insects in the garden and learning new songs - there's so much he enjoys. In addition to the activities in nursery, the children are also taught about the world around them and the local community and they go on regular trips to the local care home, church and most recently to the museum to lay a wreath the children had made on Remembrance Day. The staff are engaging and they deserve recognition for developing a lovely environment for learning.

The support you have shown me and my child as enabled us to work consistently to ensure my child is progressing. I absolutely love the setting I know my child is safe and well cared for which eases my mind while I work, I know my child likes the setting as they never want to leave. Thank you!!.

The teachers are all so friendly and approachable which I find really comforting as I’m leaving my child in their care. My child absolutely loves going and talks very highly of his day when he comes homer.

A fantastic nursery and preschool. I'm so happy I decided to send my little girl here. She loves the variety of activities on offer (indoor and outdoor) which not only cater for her development in terms of milestones, but also the holistic child. The staff are very caring and knowledgeable (both in terms of development milestones and individual children) and communicate with parents both in person and via the app. The food offered to the children (snacks and lunches) is both healthy and good quality

A fantastic Nursery. Everyone seems to care about the children in their care and look after them really well. The staff are always friendly and give the children a warm welcome. The children engage in age appropriate activities and really develop well.
