We have been taking our dog Toby to Leigh for many years. Not only is Leigh a very professional dog groomer, he is also very knowledgeable about dogs. Toby, like many dogs, can be a little nervous going to the groomers, but Leigh soon settles him with his gentle calming manner.I can personally vouch for the kindness Leigh shows to the dogs in his care, as, unbeknown to Leigh I overheard him talking to a dog he was grooming. He spoke so gently and kindly to it, we knew then, that despite moving from the area we will continue to take Toby to Leigh and not go anywhere else.

A bit of a late review, we used Leigh’s services about a month ago before our dog was due for an operation. Having read the mixer reviews online we weren’t fully sure of what to expect. But as many have testified, Leigh knows his stuff and is a very very good at dog grooming. Very knowledgeable, friendly and experience. And on top of it all, fairly decent prices for grooming service. Also: if you are pressed for time Leigh may also be able to open up shop early like he did for us. Leigh is a fantastic groomer who really cares about your pet and does a great job. He has a wealth of knowledge on training and caring for your pooch. I trust him completely with my Ava. - Val M

Took our 4 month old Cockapoo for his first groom - drawn in by the fact it would be a 1-1 only appointment - Sandra was so lovely, welcoming and made sure he was happy and settled! She did THE MOST AMAZING hair cut , he looks brand new! He was calm and happy on collection, would highly recommend!

Took my beagle for his first visit to the groomers and couldn’t be happier. Sandra communicated clearly before and after the appointment, which was really reassuring. She looked after him so well and he came back looking and smelling lovely after his full groom. Highly recommend! Thank you.

Sandra has groomed our dog, Mash, for the first time today. Mash looks awesome and Sandra was kind and both doggy and customer focused, providing an excellent service. I highly recommend choosing Sandra for your dog grooming.

Beccy has been grooming my cocker spaniel Stan since he was 5 months old, she is so patient with him (he’s a little fidget) and he always comes home looking great. He is always excited to see her and it’s obvious that she has a natural way with dogs, I’m sure it’s not just him. I’d definitely recommend to anybody.

Beccy has been grooming Barkley for the past 10 years. Then when we got Bracken our cockapoo 6 years ago, Beccy gave her her first puppy cut. Beccy was very patient with her as she was terrified of the hairdryer and used to scream! Both of them love Beccy and I wouldn’t let anyone else groom them.

My dog duke always comes away so clean and well groomed. I would not take him anywhere else been using riverside grooming for years. Definitely recommend.
