The Trolleybus Museum is one of the popular tourist attractions in Doncaster, UK. The museum is home to the world's largest collection of historic trolleybuses. The museum occupies almost 8 acres of what used to be RAF Sandtoft. The management and staff are volunteers. Some of the old taxiways leading to the three runways of the former airfield are part of the quarter-mile trolleybus circuit, where you can ride historic trolleybuses on open days. The Trolleybus Museum also features displays from the 1940s and 50s, including a replica pre-fab home, a toy museum, and a cycle shop museum. In addition to the museum shop, there is a café serving a range of hot and cold snacks, cakes, and drinks. The Museum offers a fascinating day out for the entire family.
