Very modern war museum! Educational and moving films are shown every couple of hours on the internal walls of the museum. Just take a seat and watch! Brilliant idea! Some of the exhibition areas (rather than rooms) are very quirky! One area was full of war-time suitcases another area full of filing cabinets with opened drawers strategically placed and highlighted! Got to be seen! The car park was only £5 for up to 4 hours and the admission to the museum was free. Would highly recommend a visit.

What a fantastic day we had on Sunday, Having arrived at old Trafford and receiving our passes we were met by our guide for the tour Tom, I can honestly say that Tom was a fantastic guide, Very informative, funny and could tell he loves his job. So much to see and enjoy from the amazing ground tour to the unbelievable museum situated over three floors. The legend we got was Norman Whiteside who was superb, funny and full of stories from years gone by an absolute star and true gentleman.

Just attended the first days play between England v South Africa and I have been very impressed with the new ground lay out and the organisation. After buying the tickets on line I received courtesy emails about the day. On arrival, 8 of us, went through the very efficient security, and got to our seats quickly. The play was on time, despite all the Manchester rain and we got excellent days play. Our granddaughter enjoyed the different activities at lunchtime and there were plenty of food.
