The staff have worked in collaboration with the children to provide an offer that covers the interests of pupils with academic, sporting and art interests. Bricknell Primary School lessons are supported by new technologies and extra-curricular provision, will nurture curiosity, inspire a love of learning, foster independence and equip their children with the skills they need for the future. Bricknell has made several animation films that have won international film awards and been shown at international film festivals, including Hollywood!

Eastfield Primary School offers boys and girls an excellent education in all their core subjects, but with a creative flair that children and parents love. The school is made up of pupils, parents, staff (teaching and non-teaching), governors and volunteer helpers. The aims of the school are best summarised as seeking the complete development of the individual child in a calm, caring and friendly environment. At Eastfield Primary School, Mrs Weston is the member of staff responsible for Child Protection. Their reception class, year one and year two receive a free school lunch if they wish.
