My daughter attended Tecnis Academy’s Summer School Programme for one week last month, covering English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning. She enjoyed the classes, commenting on how each session taught her something new, in particular, different (sometimes better!) methods of solving maths problems to those she already knew. The online classes allowed her to meet other children of her age group in a different forum to what she’s used to and build her confidence in answering 11+ style questions. The content covered was the ideal mix of easier through to more challenging questions. Each tutor was friendly and encouraging and took care to involve all children. The Technis team have been wonderful in coaching my son for the 11plus exams. The lessons helped him exceed on his school work targets and he found the teachers engaging. I liked that separate homework revision classes were provided, to make sure all students are all on board with the learning. I was provided with frequent updates on his progress. My daughter actually enjoyed every lesson with Kate. She tailors her tutoring for every child's needs. She makes learning fun and enjoyable and gave my daughter confidence in her own ability. My daughter was never shy to ask Kate a question. Kate gave her the reassurance to believe in herself. Kates teaching is a continuation of the children's learning at school giving them an extra boost and my daughter is over the moon when she now knows something other classmates do not.
