“Acupuncture Torbay has been a reliable acupuncture clinic. Kim Maidment is a registered acupuncturist. He graduated from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading with a Licentiate. This is where he formally studied Five Element Acupuncture, TCM Acupuncture, and Patent Herbs, in addition to Anatomy, Pathology, and Physiology. He has also improved his skills by studying MeiZen Cosmetic Acupuncture in Philadelphia. Later, he studied for a further year in order to convert this training into an accredited Bachelor of Science Honours degree. Kim Maidment tries to keep his charges to a minimum, where possible, simply because he wants to ensure services remain more widely accessible in the local area.

I have been having regular treatments with Rachel for Migraines which has made an enormous difference. After a lifetime of headaches and Migraines I hardly have anything now. The treatments are soothing and relaxing, and Rachel is very competent and experienced.

Rachel has been amazing and helped me enormously. She listens carefully and takes the time for the necessary treatments to be completed whilst explaining why she is performing each treatment. Her knowledge and understanding of the body is impressive and she has helped me with my condition in a caring and professional manner, going above and beyond to offer me tips and advice to manage day to day symptoms. I can't recommend her highly enough and can't imagine what life would be like if I hadn't found her to help me through. Acupuncture has made a huge difference to my health and well-being and as soon as I walk through the doors it feels good to be in this place. In addition to helping me with physical symptoms, the treatments have helped me feel much more grounded and relaxed. Thank you Rachel.

I have suffered with constant pain in my lower back for almost two years. After consulting a physiotherapist, then a chiropractor and then also a few sessions of deep tissue massage, the pain was temporarily eased but soon returned. I visited Kim for acupuncture and immediately the pain was relieved. I have booked a second appointment and will definitely keep returning for any other treatment I may need. Kim is friendly, chatty, professional and I felt very confident and comfortable from the moment I arrived, during the treatment and after I had left. I knew that I had made the right decision for the right treatment by the right person from the moment I met Kim. We do not have to live with pain and discomfort when there are people like Kim available to assist with ailments. Thank you Kim, I'm incredibly grateful for your help.

I visited Kim after four months of back pain and within two sessions, it was completely gone. I’m a physio myself and usually manage any back pain with exercises, but this bout was taking a long time. After one session I could return to yoga, and after two I was cured. One month later, I still have no pain at all. I’ve been recommending Acupuncture Torbay to everyone!
