We were searching for an architect who specialised in residential extensions when we purchased our bungalow in West Hallam, Derbyshire in 2025. We found Stuart Collumbell at Extended Ideas through searches on the Internet with excellent reviews. We commissioned Stuart to work with us on a single storey side extension encompassing kitchen/ diner, main bathroom and en suite bedroom. Stuart worked proactively with us to create two alternative designs, one of which we selected to build, and also helped us through the Planning Application process. I approached JSA after my previous architect acquired planning permission for extensions and alterations to my home. They provided clear drawings that my builders were really happy with, and they proposed changes to the design that would improve the general layout and look, but this required further planning permission.
