We’d highly recommend Neil. He did a fantastic job with our brief to restore and extend a 1930s house. He helped to ensure we retained all the character of the existing building which was crucial to us, whilst enhancing it beautifully with some brilliant modern design features. It all blended in seamlessly, utilising a perfect mix of traditional and modern materials. Once we’d seen his ideas they excited us, it was even better than we’d imagined, and really respected the original house. Throughout the design, Neil listened to what we wanted, kept us informed of progress, and turned his work around really quickly which was hugely appreciated. He’s a pleasure to work with. Our planning permission was also granted in just 4.5 weeks which was incredible and again testament to Neil’s hard work, knowledge and professionalism. Simply we’re delighted with our plans, and we’re sure we made the right choice in selecting Neil as our Architect.

Neil was very professional and friendly through the engagement. He was very respectful with our wishes and objectives and was extremely helpful with advice and recommendations. Neil is meticulous with detail and performed all activities to expected timescales and was very supportive too through the entire planning process especially with heritage aspects of our Edwardian coach house. I strongly recommend Neil as the architect of choice having worked with several previously. Working with Neil took away much of the stress and anxiety during a complex project.

Whilst researching local architects, Neil Cooke's name came up....we're glad it did. Neil's enthusiasm, professionalism and eye for detail shows through in his designs. Neil worked with us to achieve the extended living space we needed, taking us through the design which was flexed and re modelled explaining what would work well in order to fit our end goal. Neil has been supportive whilst the build went ahead, providing guidance throughout. The quality of Neil's work can be seen in the finished design- providing key trade people with the detail they need to make the build flow as easy as possible. No words can explain how highly we would recommend Neil Cooke - calm and professional from start to finish. You only need to see this in his work where your ideas come to life in the structures that are created. Beautiful, well planned and designed architecture, reflecting the environment in which it is brought to life.
