TOP 3 FERENS ART GALLERY REVIEWS

Not-so-hidden gem in Hull which rather shows why the city gained it's City of Culture status. Lovely collections of actually fantastic modern art mixed with some older pieces. Bigger than it looks from the outside. Well lit. Very friendly volunteers/staff. Definitely worth a stop if in the area - I'd argue for modern art this is actually almost on par with the TATE Modern in London - there were more pieces that actually related as a Northerner.

I had a fantastic time at the Ferens Art Gallery! The exhibitions are beautifully curated, and I loved learning about the different art styles throughout history. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the gallery’s atmosphere is welcoming. The fact that it's free and accessible for all is a big plus. Can't wait to go back.

Amazing place, such a great asset for the city. Have been coming here since a child, staff are always helpful and friendly. Nice cafe too.

Humber street gallery is a small gallery with very varied exhibits. It's probably most well-known for being the home of dead bod, it's quite sad seeing dead bod so out of context, to someone who remembers seeing it in its original location, but I am glad it has survived and far more people will see it now. The gallery is free to enter and see the exhibits, there is a bar where you can get something to eat and drink.

I highly recommend visiting Humber Street Gallery! The atmosphere is welcoming and luxurious, making it a pleasure to explore the exhibitions. I appreciate that admission is free, allowing everyone to enjoy the incredible artwork and performances. It’s a cultural highlight in Hull.

I was blown away by the level of creativity and inclusivity at Artlink Hull. The gallery does a fantastic job of representing various artists, especially those from marginalized communities. Each visit offers a new perspective, and I always leave feeling inspired.

Love art link and 87 Gallery. Always great exhibitions, lovely little shop too. I especially like they have a little library upstairs of books associated with the current exhibition.
