The bed was comfy, decor a little dated, but the room was clean and had everything, no hairdryer. Breakfast was continental and delicious, we ordered eggs on toast and was offered more if we wanted. The breakfast room looked out onto the seafront. Great location, plenty of stairs so not suitable for less abled bodied. Staff were welcoming and service was quick.

Arrived with a little scepticism as the previous ratings were quite mixed but turned out really good. Friendly welcome, big room with seaview and everything was really clean. Breakfast selection was not full English but didn't want that anyways.

Stayed 1 night, lovely friendly welcome from the owner, spotless room, breakfast lovely, owner couldn't do enough for us, would most definitely be back.

THE SWALLOWS B&B REVIEWS

The Swallows is the perfect hideaway for short or long stays in Exmouth. The location is very central and you can walk to the beach and town centre in minutes. The hosts are extremely attentive and caring. The room we stayed in was large, very clean and nicely decorated. In the morning you can enjoy a variety of fresh fruit, cereals and a freshly prepared full English breakfast of superbe quality. You also get free parking, fresh water and snacks every day. We will definitely be back!

Thank you Ian and Tracey for making us feel so welcome, your B n B is warm, inviting, exceptional clean, the choice for breakfast was amazing and absolutely delicious! You helped make our stay in Exmouth a real tonic. We very much hope to be able to stay with you again and would not hesitate to recommend you, kind regards Karen and Chris.

For us this was the perfect bed and breakfast to stay in. Wonderful hosts in every way, high standard of facilities and not far from the town centre and sea front. Without any hesitation we would highly recommend.

We have just finished our second stay here and wanted to leave a review to say thank you to all the staff for such an outstanding level of service. Everyone was just so welcoming and helpful and cheerful. The hotel is incredibly clean, the location is spot on and the food simple but tasty and reliable. However it was the wonderful staff that made our stay so perfect nothing was too much bother and they created had such a lovely atmosphere. Thank you to you all for making our little family break so special.

Perfect location on seafront with some rooms having sea views. Good disabled facilities. Very comfortable and well appointed rooms. Great breakfast including vegan bacon and sausage options.

Stayed over for one night and have to say that the location is absolutely perfect. All of the staff were came across were really very helpful. We went out somewhere for dinner but came back for a couple of drinks and my wife enjoyed the cocktails. In the morning we opted for the breakfast rather than venture out, there are cheaper options in the area but the food was very well cooked and being all you can eat we felt it was worth it.
