TOP 3 SOMERVILLE HOUSE REVIEWS

Somerville House is a real gem of a B&B establishment in Hereford. It is situated in a quiet suburb of the city, only 15 to 20 minutes of walk from the city centre. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and the guests are provided with comfortable beds, high quality towels and bedding as well as tea and coffee making facilities. The proprietors are very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast served is excellent. I would strongly recommend Somerville House to anyone who wants to spend a few days in Hereford.

The first of many B&Bs on our road trip. Here for 2 nights, and it was the best! Super comfy room and super king bed, ground floor overlooking the garden with Cathedral in the background. The hosts had thought of everything you would need, and more (heated hot pad for aches and pains). Quality toiletries, and quality ingredients at breakfast with good selection of fruits yogurts jams etc. delicious breakfast from a good menu. Overall we were very impressed, an excellent and convenient location for walking into town. Very helpful and friendly hosts.

Excellent stay here, very lovely inviting accommodation. Beautifully renovated and decorated rooms, super friendly and helpful staff. The house has a lovely lounge and a beautiful garden that guests can use. Highly recommend!

Loved our stay at Bowens. Positioned perfectly for enjoying many nature walks. The rooms are so clean and a great size. Great breakfast in the morning with beautiful views of the garden and surrounding countryside from the terrace. We felt so welcomed throughout our stay. Will be returning!

A hidden gem in a perfect location. You can be assured of a warm welcome. The outside chalets were cosy and comfortable. Lots of lovely little touches. The breakfasts were delicious, especially the hash browns and mushrooms. The hosts were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble.a beautiful setting that was accessible to the local area.

A wonderful place to stay. Stunning views with a rural feel on the edge of Hereford. Plenty of places to run an walk in the country yet on a couple of minutes into town. I was made to feel very welcome and was able to check in early.
