Good range of bikes to hire at a reasonable price. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. We've hired from Beics Brenin about 10 times over the years. Latest hire we had an issue with the bike, which they replaced and refunded our hire as an apology. Coed Y Brenin is our favourite mountain biking area in the country. Excellent tracks from beginner to expert in beautiful forest.

I wasn't able to bring my mountain bike on holiday with me so I booked a Trek Full Susser from the shop for a day out at Coed Y Brenin. The shop was really helpful with getting the bike setup for me (saddle, shock pressures, tyres etc) and changing the pedals over to my Time Atacs, as well. Very helpful, knowledgeable staff and the bike shop is really well stocked too. Recommended.

Trails for all levels. Stunning setting. Bike hire team friendly and helpful. Excellent food at cafe, but be on time for lunch as menu items ran out when we were there. Would return.

DOLGELLAU CYCLES REVIEWS

Reading some of the reviews we were hesitant about renting bikes here, but it turned out that the owner was a very nice, chatty guy. He made sure that the bikes were in good condition and we had a very smooth ride. Yes, you have to leave a document as deposit, but it's very clearly stated in the rules. It looks like in the summer it's advisable to book ahead, as there are no other bike shops in town and the Mawddach Trail is a popular trip! I'd definitely do it again and rent bikes in the same place!

My partner and I visited on 23.07.24 whilst in the area, the owner of the hire shop was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to get us a couple of bikes just after lunch. He went to the trouble of changing my seat to a lovely comfortable padded one. He was also very knowledgeable of the area and advised on the nearby trail, which was fantastic. Highly recommend visiting this cycle hire shop.

We rented e-bikes and had a day on the estuary and up at the lakes. Fantastic value. Great service and the bikes were easily up to the task. Would recommend if you fancy a mini adventure around Dolgellau.

Excellent service once again. Had my Specialized frame replaced under warranty. All done by sending pictures and videos. Specialized have continued to impress with their after sales service. Thanks to Sam for moving all my components onto the new frame in a couple of hours.

Very helpful. Theres nothing to much of a problem. Sam is a very knowledgeable mechanic. The booking in system is perfect and your bike will be done the same day. Excellent bike shop.

Exellent service, slotted me in when really bust due to issues with the gear. Sorted in 2hrs. Thank you.
