I was looking for new bikes for my twin 8 yo birthdays. We went to several places and then found Phil and Adam at Shay cycles. They don’t sell new but when we showed our family the bikes they didn’t believe they weren’t new. The bikes are excellent quality and for a very reasonable price. But the best thing is Phil and Adam who really help with everything… what a goldmine this is… massive thanks both, they love their new bikes.

Took my youngest daughter’s bike into Shay Discount Cycles today. She’d managed to jam the gear changer and I’ve no idea what she’d done to the back brake. Shay cycles had it repaired really quickly and at a great price. They are such friendly people and I would definitely recommend them.

My youngest had grown out of his bike and needed a new one. Great service with part exchange for old bike. Much needed advice provided around the right size etc. from people who know their subject. Really happy with new bike, thank you!

Sorted my bike within the day, dropped off at luck and picked up at 5pm. The staff member I spoke to was prompt and friendly. Thank you so much for sorting so quickly!! (Also saved me a £300+ bill for something I did wrong with internal cables).

Great customer service!! I got a puncher in one of my off roading pram wheels and they sorted it for me super quick ... even opened up a few mins early so I could get my son to breakfast club on time!! Thank you.

Been using this shop for over 30 years, lost count of the number of bikes I have purchased. Mark & his staff are superb and know their stuff. Best shop by far.

This shop is everything you’d want from a local bike shop — friendly, community-focused, and run by people who genuinely know and love cycling. They did a fantastic job when I needed work done on my bike. The staff are knowledgeable, approachable, and happy to chat through any bike-related question. Highly recommended.

Top quality service at this shop, my cassette on my MTB fell apart mid ride over the moors so called in here in the hope they'd be able to bodge it back together for me to be able to get home. In the end managed to fit me a full new cassette at a very reasonable price all on short notice, highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic!! Just had a crash near hebden, damage to bike, called store, they fixed the bike straight away and at a very competitive price. Back in the saddle for the ride. Thank you blazing saddles hebden.
