They use a combination of traditional brush and vacuum methods, along with the latest power sweeping techniques, to ensure your chimney is swept clean and safe to use. They check the cowl for suitability and security, and inspect the chimney pot, cement flaunching, and condition of the stack. They then examine your chimney with a torch and mirror to assess the type of soot or tar in the chimney and determine the most suitable sweeping method. They also set off a smoke pellet and check outside to ensure the smoke exits from one pot only.”
