The church was established to serve the rapidly growing population of the community with regular masses, prayers and worship. The church was given minister status in 2004. Doncaster Minster boasts a calm and inviting atmosphere that attracts visitors from around the world for worship, events, and celebrations. The Minster has undergone various renovations due to human-made and natural disasters. It features state-of-the-art organs installed in 1862, which are still preserved and used during services and events.
