“St. Francis Xavier's Church offers spiritual assistance to those in need. Notably, the presence of a representative of the king in a Catholic capacity marks a significant moment, being the first time in three centuries. There are three Sunday Masses every week. The first is on Saturday evening at 6:00 PM, and the other two are at 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM on Sunday morning. The exterior features columns and a stucco frieze, with two fluted Doric columns flanking the entrance. At the back, a dome adds to the architectural interest. The ornate interior includes a decorated plaster ceiling, and a lightwell illuminates the church. The altar is flanked by two Ionic columns.

HEREFORD CATHEDRAL REVIEWS

Visited Hereford Cathedral today and was pleasantly surprised by the free admission! The atmosphere was majestic and serene, perfect for soaking in the rich history of this ancient site. Highlights include the fascinating Mappa Mundi and the impressive chained library. The mix of Norman and Gothic architecture adds to the charm. Definitely worth a visit, especially on a sunny day!

We always appreciate good architecture whenever we go away and the cathedral definitely didn't disappoint. We're not religious but there's something spiritual and sombre about the place and the history is fascinating. The level of detail throughout the building is breathtaking. Can't wait to return.

Beautiful building, well worth a visit. Nice to sit and look around and admire the pictures in the glass windows, the ceiling, plus take in the magnificent of the building. If the choir is singing that's a major plus.

I went to Mass here for the first time today (a Wednesday) and although the priest was not the regular one, he was very generous in giving me some time after Mass to discuss a personal issue. A friendly Asian man assisted me as I didn't want to just barge into the Sacristy! The church is beautiful and I felt that the community, whilst keeping to themselves, were prayerful - there was such stillness and reverence , allowing one to pray within the peaceful atmosphere. I am grateful for this. Mass was beautifully said and there were about 40 people. I was sad that there was no chalice, alas, maybe Sunday will be different. I am grateful that we have the benefit of Belmont Abbey to support the Catholic community. This is a great blessing as we can frequently receive Jesus! God bless!

It is a Parish church of the Roman Catholic Church of the Cardiff Diocese where the relic [hand] of St. John Kemble ( 1599 - 22 August 1679), one of the fourty English Martyrs of the Roman Catholic Church of England and Wales, is placed.

Lovely church, every Sunday at 7 o'clock there is a cocaine anonymous group which is incredibly helpful for anyone struggling with addiction.

Incredible church that has changed mine and my family's life!! I left church when I was young but came back after a few years and realised that Freedom Church is home. In Freedom I know that it's genuine love, it is family. I've grown up in this church and it's been 20 years since we joined. When I came back after those years away I felt no judgement, but acceptance. There's incredible pastors and people who have helped me so much in growing a relationship with Jesus!!! Thank you so much

I love the passion here, and the worship, the word and the community. Fantastic church with great leaders who truly want to live Gods way. There is a desire to be relevant to the world without losing the awe of God.

I walked into this church and I found a family that each have a relationship with Jesus - they would agree they're far from being perfect people, but they build church with genuine love for others, humility and so much joy!!!
