St Ann's Church is a Grade I listed building in the community that traditionally offers religious and spiritual services. The church was consecrated in 1712 and named St Ann in tribute to its patron. Initially, the church served a small rural town, but as the community grew, the congregation outgrew the church, leading to plans for additional construction. St Ann's Church is an architectural masterpiece featuring an exquisite hallway and stained glass windows designed by William Peckitt of York. The church welcomes visits from schools and other organizations, and its small gift shop is open to visitors. Concerts and recitals are frequent events, with regular performances of chamber music and piano recitals by students of the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM). St Ann's Church is known for their excellent atmosphere and environment.

2025 Update: They offer Sunday Services at 9.00 am, 10.45 am, and 5.00 pm. The church has been a place of worship for more than 300 years.
