I was invited to light a candle in St Mary's during my visit to the Christmas Markets last night. I was directed to this hidden gem by a lovely gentleman with a lantern, who explained the history of the church before leaving me in peace to light a candle and say a prayer for a loved one. The interior is absolutely beautiful with a lovely calm atmosphere, we'll worth looking for on a trip to Manchester. I wish I could have stayed longer.

I really enjoyed visiting this church, it's fantastic that you leave it open for visitors. A beautiful spot away from all the noise you would expect in a city. Wish I could come back to buy some more cards from your shop they are treasured and admired.
