I have two dogs a pug and British Bull dog and was really struggling with them when out walking. My Bull Dog is only a year but is so strong that I was struggling to hold him. We decided we needed help and I can’t believe the change in my dogs since having Kate. Kate has taught us so much as we as the owners are the ones that need teaching, Kate has a fantastic approach with some great training ideas that have worked wonders with both my dogs. Kate made us feel at ease and would explain in depth why the dogs would do what they were doing which really helped us to understand why our dogs and their behaviour. Kate took time to get to know us as a family and really understood our dogs. We are so grateful for all Kates help and that she emails us after each session to reinforce what we had done and needed to keep doing.we are looking forward to having some more sessions with Kate.

Kate is amazing! We had a reactive gorgeous lockdown German Shepherd who we loved dearly but who was an absolute nightmare to walk outside. She was highly reactive to other dogs, cars and pulled relentlessly on the lead. It got so bad that I was unable to walk her due to how strong she is and I had to rely on my fiancé to take her out. Kate has completely transformed the experience for me. Her teaching techniques are on point and she offers step by step guidance on how to get the best out of the training sessions. After only a short time of 1-2-1 classes we have made massive strides in the right direction. We now have a beautiful dog who is a lot calmer around cars, is easier to control on the lead and is less reactive to other dogs. I look forward to continuing to work with Kate to train my dog and any future dogs which we might get. Highly recommend.

Kate is amazing at teaching owners as well as puppies/dogs. We bought home our 8 week old GSD and booked Kate for the following week for 1-1, our puppy is now 24 weeks and I get so much joy with her and training. The best compliment to us the owners and Kate our trainer, is people commenting on how good she is at such a young age. Kate you are amazing and so happy we have you to train us all.

I wish I'd contacted Jemma sooner! Our rescue dog Dexter was really reactive to other dogs; barking hysterically at them and spinning on the lead. I really thought this behaviour was embedded and would take ages to resolve. However we've had two sessions with Jemma and we've managed to sort out the behaviour already. I was beginning to dread taking Dexter out for a walk incase we met another dog but now I've taken him to the park, the beach and sat in a cafe; something I never thought we could do. I can highly recommend Whistle and Wag! Our retriever Cheddars had 1-1 with both Nicci and Jemma and has just completed the foundation gundog course. The change in him has been incredible, he’s more confident and focused and able to remain calm and settled around other dogs (something we thought would never happen!) we intend to carry on with the next stage of his gundog training along side further 1 to 1 sessions. Both Jemma and Nicci are knowledgeable, non judgmental, calm and fun and make sure the dogs are having fun whilst learning new skills. Truly the best thing we have done for Cheddar - Tania F
