Both Tom and Victoria are highly qualified in canine care, training and behaviour. Victoria is also a Certified Canine Behaviourist with a 1st Class Degree in Canine Behaviour. Victoria is a trauma specialist and works voluntarily as the certified behaviourist for Newport Dogs Home, Desperate Dogs Romania & Help for Dogs each week to support rescues to find the right new home. Victoria and Tom love dogs, have 4 of their own and are passionate about improving the lives of each dog and his or her family. She has worked with about 400 dogs. They are very clear in their belief that old-fashioned, aversive techniques have no place in their sessions. The sessions are 1 to 1 with doggy mentors and carefully planned activities around each specific dog's needs, working in partnership with owners. They provide feedback, support, and advice between and after sessions for FREE as long as needed. They has earned numerous awards and published a book.

2025 Update: They offer training and support for puppies, dogs, including rescues from the UK and abroad. The team has expertise with a very large range of dog breeds, temperaments, sizes, ages and backgrounds. They travel to you, provide videos or 1 to 1 support and work with you. They give detailed videos to owners after each session to share with family members and enable easier, consistent practice. 1. Do dog owners need to be present during the training sessions?
Pooch on a Pedestal
We ensure we meet the needs of each owner and dog. Some sessions may be without owners so we see if a dog reacts differently, i.e., less anxious, not guarding etc. But it is vital each owner feels they can implement the training so some like to attend, some like videos and some like both.
