We needed someone to help us with our dog who had developed separation anxiety after the pandemic when he had got used to us being at home all the time. Martin came to our house and went through loads of really helpful techniques to help our dog’s confidence. He covered so much I wasn’t sure we would remember it all, but he sent us an email with all the notes from the session, which has been super helpful too. With regular repetition of the techniques learned our dog is becoming much less anxious and barely reacts when we are getting ready to go out. It will take a bit more time and practice, but I am 100% confident that we will soon be able to leave him without him barking. I have no hesitation at all in recommending Headington Dog Training.

As a first time dog owner Martin gave me wonderful support from when I first got Louis. Originally I saw him on a regular basis for general guidance and training. This continues now that Louis is older and we get together every couple months or so just to check on any bad habits that might have crept in on my behalf or little traits that Louis might have developed. I cannot recommend Martin highly enough. He helps to give me confidence that I am doing my best by Louis, which is all important to me.

My puppy has just finished his training with Martin and I am delighted with his achievements in a such short space of time. The training is excellent, Martin's explanations and demonstrations are very clear and the atmosphere is conducive to learning whilst being fun. Thoroughly recommend.

We have a Working Golden Retreiver which we were really struggling with. We had tried half a dozen dog trainers over a period of 3 years but each of which had very limited effect. We were left unable to control our reactive dog who absolutely refused to get in the car despite a endless hard work and patience in trying their techniques. Martin and Belinda were completely different and transformed the relationship with our dog for the better. They completely understood our dog and how we needed to change our training. Very quickly we saw massive improvements. They were kind but firm with our dog and she is so much happier now - and so are we. Martin was extremely generous with his time, he was very patient, determined and genuinely cared about helping us. I can't recomend them highly enough - they are genuinely exceptional at their work.

Belinda and Martin's structured training programmes are fantastic value for money. The facilities are superb. I have attended classes with 3 very different dogs and have been guided through different tools and techniques to succeed. The sessions build on previous learning and we always leave sessions feeling like we are improving and have homework to work on for next time.
