Highly recommended! Debbie is a fantastic trainer with a clear, knowledgable and patient approach to training sessions. We attended the six session obedience classes last summer with our six month old rescued puppy, Smudge, who was still a nervous little guy at the time. The classes are held in a safe environment, with plenty of space for each dog and separate areas for reactive/nervous dogs. Debbie is a clear communicator and gives time to both the group and the individual dogs/owners. The course was such a positive experience and we left with a much more confident puppy, with both Dog and Owner learning a lot. We took Smudge back for a follow-on course in the Autumn as well. Since then we have also engaged with Debbie for a couple of one-to-one sessions with both Smudge and our other rescued dog Lilly. Debbie has helped enormously, providing much more focused advice for the individual issues we were experiencing - Smudge became nervous walking after his first experience of bonfire night fireworks and Lilly is extremely nervous around visitors/reactive to certain situations due to her background prior to her rescue. Debbie suggested different options for the sessions depending on the focus and needs of the individual dog. For us this was an outdoor session in a park for Smudge, which has been super valuable (and Smudge loved it!) and a remote session over Zoom/Teams for Lilly so as not to cause her any fear given the issues she has with visitors to the house.

We’ve had 2 1-2-1 sessions with Debbie and completed the puppy allstars course. We’vealso attended the puppy parties. Debbie is exceptionally friendly and very knowledgable. She has put me at ease when things haven’t gone the way I wanted/felt they should. I will be going to Debbie with any and all questions or issues that come up. I can not fault her.

We have had 3 sessions now with Debbie to help Billy our cross dalmation with his nervousness. With all the things Debbie has suggested and we have taken on board it is like living with a different dog already. He still has a way to go but we are feeling much more confident now thanks to Debbie's help.

I can’t recommend Emma enough! She has years of experience from her time at Dogs Trust and really knows her stuff. Her classes are such fun, and her knowledge of training rescue dogs is second to none — she gives them the best chance to succeed. 100% recommend.
