Joanna walks our cockapoo Bailey every week. She is reliable and trustworthy and her training skills also means she teaches him good habits during their walks. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Would definitely recommend, fun classes that my mischievous Cockapoo has enjoyed and come on in leaps and bounds. He’s made great friends too.
Amazing experienced trainer! Great with pups of all ages! Highly recommend!

CATHERINE PHOENIX HALLAM DOG BEHAVIOURIST AND TRAINER REVIEWS
Catherine is a great dog trainer and very under standing of dogs behaviour. Catherine has trained many of our rescue dogs giving them a chance to live in a home environment (and yes we have had some sad cases) where they are treated like one of her own.. when any of our rescue dogs leave Catherine we have a full update on what they like and dislike and how to manage any problems that they might have had or how to continue working with them.. Catherine will still give help and support even when the foster dogs move on to their new homes ,which is a great reassurance to their new families.. Catherine is always willing to give advice if ever I need it and will always welcome a new foster dog in to her home, I would recommend Catherine to anyone who needs help with anything regarding training, understand and behaviour of their dogs to get in touch with Catherine - Deborah C
Highly recommend, Catherine helped us a huge amount as first time puppy owners with tips and advice.. we practised all we learnt during our sessions and continue to do so..... at first it was soo daunting and scary. Looking back now 16 months on it was the best thing we ever did and worth every penny to have a well mannered almost obedient dog. Had a few more sessions recently to work on a couple of specific issues. Catherine gives you the confidence to tackle it head on, is genuine, enthusiastic and knowledgeable which is comforting. - Nikky.
Catherine was very helpful for my barky terrier, helping me to understand him better and helping him by introducing him to her amazing pack. I always feel secure leaving Percy with her when I'm away, which is very helpful for me as otherwise I'd never go anywhere! - Georgia.
Excellent trainer always on hand to go the extra mile to ensure that any dog gets the help it needs… would recommend Catherine 100% - Ang.
We called Catherine in when we were at the end of our tether with our reactive cockapoo. Catherine came in and gave us incredibly helpful advice which helped. However his behaviour still wasn’t great, not Catherine’s fault just that we couldn’t cope with his behaviour, and Catherine fostered him and has reset him. She has done an amazing job and we have really appreciated her help. Her help meant that he hasn’t had to be out to sleep and is now ready for his new adventure. - Sharon P
Catherine is brilliant she walks my 15month old Great Dane who is over 11stones I have confidence that i know Logan is fine with Catherine I would recommend her to anyone how wants their dog to have happy walks.
Catherine was amazing with our staffy pup. Its my first dog so I had no idea. She really reassured us and gave us loads of practical advice. Totally worth investing from the beginning of your pooches journey. You learn alot about yourself from the sessions which helps you understand your fur baby. It makes a huge difference. If you are reading this make that call , you won't regret it . Thanks Catherine from Chunk and both of us x - Jenny L.
Catherine is one of those people who you meet and are immediately in awe of. Her friendliness, willingness to help, knowledge and professionalism is second to none. She has helped us twice. The first time with a troublesome larger rescue who wanted to use us as her tug toy. Catherine went above and beyond, came to our house, did a review session and waited all afternoon to understand the dog reaction to all of the family returning from work, school, college etc. The second was with a nervous rescue. Catherine again came and worked with our dog and brought some of hers that assist with the training, dog confidence etc. I worked on all of the techniques she gave us and we soon had our dog over his anxiety. I regularly contact her for advice and support and it is always there. She has provided staged training worksheets that Ive stuck to and have been invaluable. I even received a training book as a surprise gift through the post. All in all the best trainer and an incredibly caring individual for both the dogs and human owners! - Ian T.
We have had several staffers over the years and Auntie Catherine has trained our dogs on recall and general behaviour. Catherine is an absolute safe pair of hands to train your dogs and will respond and correct any behavioural issues and always notices the slightest change that you as the owner may miss. As a dog owner I feel very reassured that Catherine is on hand to support with our dogs - Mel S.
My family and I have known Cath for almost 7 years now. We first got in touch with her to work on our (then) adolescent rotti X 'manners' when out meeting other dogs. Cath has since looked after our dog whilst we've been on holiday, walked him when we had our little girl and become Auntie Cath to our dog. She's amazing at what she does. She works with not only the dog, but the owner too. I've no concerns when my dog is in her care, I know he's well looked and one of her pack. Thank you Cath and Paul! - Abee R.

MIDLANDSGRIZZLYS REVIEWS
I had a great experience with MidlandsGrizzlys , as I choose to buy and train my beautiful Labrador named Alba with them and within 2 weeks I can see the difference, the owners were very kind and very specific about the type of training that was required for Alba and the difference after completing the training was amazing. Alba is now very aware , very switched on and defensive when needed I would definitely recommend them to anyone that’s looking to buy a dog and put them through a training program. Thank you MidlandsGrizzlys
I've been training with Midlandsgrizzlys for a while now and have continued to stay with them as I cannot fault their training. I've been to several "trainers" previously just to simply teach my gsd puppy who was 4 months old at the time just to be able to walk on a leash correctly and all failed apart from Adam (head trainer at midlandsgrizzlys) I completed an obedience programme with him and eventually completed a protection programme with him. He has taught my dog Sit , down , stay, close , recall and even to be able to be neutral around other dogs. He has also taught my dog how ti actually be a dog rather than it being a loose cannon. I'm actually able to walk my dog now rather than him walking me. Thank you so much Adam for all the training. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
took my dog to these guys, my dog had many difficulties with his behavior and I found it very difficult to take him for walks. Within a few weeks I seen some amazing changes and by the end of the session’s it felt like I had a different dog. Thank you MidlandsGrizzlys!
