I passed two weeks ago with Sarah - I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She taught me practical skills like how to get to places I’ll go regularly, she helped with my anxiety, understood my disability and more. Probably the most important thing was that she knew when to be stern with me and tell me she knew I could do something, or when I needed to be “mummied” and have a little bit of time to myself. Without Sarah I wouldn’t have passed (in only 4 months!), and I wouldn’t now be confident on my own. Wish I could give more than 5.

I took an intensive course with Driver Skills North East and could not have asked for a better experience. The booking process was easy and they kept me in the loop on the build up the start date. My instructor Mel was reassuring, patient and helped push me all week to become a more confident driver, which built me up perfectly for a driving test at the end of the week. I felt confident after my 30 hour course going into the test and passed first time thanks to the great lessons and support provided. I would wholeheartedly recommend Driver Skills North East to anyone wanting to learn how to drive - I feel I couldn't have done it without them.

Andrew was by far the best driving instructor I have had and without him I could have never passed my driving test. He is extremely enthusiastic and his encouragement helped me gain confidence when driving. His patience and understanding made what could have potentially been stressful situations, into useful experience to benefit my driving. His structured approach to driving left little to chance and in the end it was no surprise that with his tuition I became a safe and capable driver.

I've learned to drive with Andrew. He is very kind, punctual, patient and professional. Every lesson was well planned. He taught me from an absolute beginner to a confident driver.
