I would 100% recommend Trident to anyone who wants to become a confident driver. Today, I passed first time. My instructor was the lovely Chris, he was always kind, patient and thorough in his instruction. Prior to Trident, I’d had some experiences that had made me incredibly anxious in the car. Chris’ methodological, calm approach minimised my nerves and helped me alter my mindset towards driving. I am incredibly grateful for all his help and his endless patience - I would definitely recommend if you are someone who struggles with nerves. Additionally, Trident offer you a mock test with a different instructor; this is a great service that gives you areas to focus on pre test and it certainly boosted my confidence before my test. If it wasn’t for Pennie’s absolute wealth of knowledge and sheer determination i wouldn’t of been successful in passing both my part 2 & 3 tests to becoming a qualified driving instructor. Firstly I’ll forever be indebted to her for not only her calm approach but also her dedication to push me to the best of my ability.

Mark Rhodes is an excellent instructor. Right from day one I appreciated his chilled and approachable style of instructing, which gave me the confidence to extend my skills and environment where I felt safe. He knew when to push me beyond my comfort zone, or pull back to allow me to consolidate when I was feeling less confident. I felt really confident going into my test and this was down to his excellent preparation for both doing the test, but even more so I now realise how well-prepared I am to drive on my own having passed my test. I would recommend Mark to any one wishing to to drive. It was very easy to communicate with Mark both during lessons, but also in organising times that are mutually convenient for lessons, and he was also very good at keeping my parents up-to-date with my progress and any areas that I needed to improve on.
