My experience with Chris Kelly was nothing short of brilliant. My instructor, who was Andy Kennedy, praised me every lesson, which helped my confidence grow. He would be straight with me when I wasn't at my best but most of all made it a calm and comfortable experience. It was the first time in my time of doing lessons that I actually looked forward to completing them. I had tried manual lessons with 4 x different independent instructors before and didn't get anywhere, (so this time i opted for automatic as i just wanted to get on the road) they were always so serious and at times abrupt! Andy made my lessons light hearted and fun. Thanks Andy .I passed 1st time, completing only 22 lessons and with only 2 minors. Can't speak highly enough of my process and would recommend to anyone

Had 12 double lessons for a driver's license exam that was due in June-July 2024. Teacher dropped out on May and informed me that the school with reassign students new teachers, prioritising students that are going for an exam. I never got a single update of the reassignment, thus the exam being cancelled on the day it was meant to happen. I then reached out to the school in September 2024 through their application form online, informing them about the incident and requesting to do a few driving lessons so that I can finally do my exam... Never received a reply... Never. It does not matter how good the tutors are when the customer service and support is unacceptable.

Chris Murray at Chris Kelly driving school was amazing! I felt comfortable and supported while learning and ended up passing first time! I couldn’t recommend him enough.

I passed first time after being instructed by Joe, great teacher and all round nice guy. I can't recommend him enough. He didn't just teach me how to pass the test but he taught me about the roads, how to approach certain situations, and nuances of driving. He was always willing to answer my questions and I couldn't have asked for a better instructor.

Just passed my driving test thanks to Joe! He is a friendly guy and an amazing teacher who has given me the skills and experiences to drive confidently in all types of situations. Can't recommend him enough.

I passed first time with Gordon and couldn’t have asked for a better instructor! As someone who was really nervous about driving at first, Gordon was always helpful, calm and lovely. Would highly recommend .

Andy is hands down the best driving instructor I could’ve asked for not only helped me pass my practical test first time but also helped with my theory as well he was very supportive and always gave clear instructions on what to do and is there to ask questions when needed would highly recommend him for everyone looking to pass with confidence again thank you so much Andy for all you help gave absolute credit to Birkenhead driving school.

I had about six weeks worth of lessons with Andy before passing my test, after previously failing with another company. Any mistakes were quickly ironed out, while I was still very nervous on the test day I was much more comfortable and confident thanks to BDS and Andy. Highly recommend BDS and you're in for a treat if you get Andy himself.
