Fabulous take away gluten-free fish and chips for two, and standard battered sausage and chips for two, along with tasty curry sauce and perfect mushy peas (not too mushy, and lovely taste!). The service was friendly and timely, and food was well wrapped and easily carried. We love the Codfather's food, and would definitely recommend to others, in particular the gluten-free community.

I came here to purchase a large order for a party served to me by a lovely lady named Sarah. Everything was perfect and piping hot. Everyone was pleased as punch. Friendly staff, good food and great location. Can't be beaten. Extra thanks to Sarah.

Lovely food and service. Was served by Esther who let me breakdown in her arms over my recent divorce (Linda) and consoled me. Gave me her card if i needed anymore advice, will be coming again! also reccomend the chips, crispy.

My wife and I with my 3 kids had one of the best experience of having a meal out today at 'Salt and Venegar' restuarant at Fair ford Leys. Very friendly staff were attentive, and went out of their way to make sure everyone felt comfortable and looked after. We enjoyed very fresh and authentic british style fish and chips and burgers, the taste was beyond our expectations. The bar selection was just as impressive, offering a wide range of creative cocktails, local brews, and a thoughtful wine list. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable meal out with family or friends

We ate at Salt and Vinegar on a Saturday evening enjoying cocktails and a fish basket and chips. It was like being on holiday, sitting outside with a great atmosphere and good food. Service was wonderful and I loved that our little dog was welcome to the outside seating area too. We will definitely be back!! Highly recommend!!

First time visit to Salt and Vinegar. Tried out a few cocktails which were fabulous and asked for a spicy marg which was off menu and they team made me one. Yummy. The staff were so helpful.

Best chip shop in Aylesbury by a mile off. Family run, good portion sizes and delivery driver is always friendly and efficient. I enjoy ordering from here weekly. Thanks to the team at top friars.

We’ll be switching fish and chips shop now we’ve tried Golden fry. We normally go to chip and co but we’ve found a new fav.
