This British gastro pub was a good choice for dinner. They have a variety of items on the menu. I had the pork belly and scallops which was a tasty meal. We ordered wine from a reasonably priced wine menu. The decor was pleasing and the service was okay. The fish and chips were quite good. Fish was crispy. The fried cheese appetizer was very good.

Lovely gastric pub, nicely decorated. Outdoor seating at the front and back. Lots of seats in the bar area, and also a smart-looking restaurant area. Food was also very good. They ran out of a couple of things, but I like that because you know it’s fresh.

Wow. Called in on spec, Saturday afternoon. Very pleasant atmosphere and super helpful and friendly staff, thank you Martyn and team. Fillet steak was a personal favourite.

I stopped here by accident, and what a lovely surprise it was. The interior is cosy, modern and clean. All the members of staff I spoke with were extremely friendly and helpful. I ordered a vegan moussaka (I'm not vegan but love a moussaka), it took a while to arrive but it was so worth it. It was served with freshly baked bread and salad. I drank peach iced tea and that was great too. The waitress that has got blond hair tied in a pony tail was just so lovely, she didn't stop smiling at all the customers, clearly making their day. The other young waitress was really good too. The place filled up quite quickly and I see why. I definitely recommend it.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Akeman Inn, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The pub itself has a wonderful atmosphere, creating a cozy yet lively environment. The food was nothing short of amazing – every dish was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. To top it off, the service was fantastic. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. I highly recommend The Akeman Inn for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

I drive past twice a day to and from work and have always wondered what it was like. Well, I'm pleased to say it was everything i was hoping for and so much more! Great food, great service, and a lovely setting. I'll definitely be back.

Me and my wife celebrate our marriage at the broad leys. The food was stunning and the service was amazing! The staff were so helpful letting us set up the day before so we had everything ready. And really affordable too.

What an amazing place, I'm stopping over for work but it feels like a posh dinner out at the weekend. The food is really good, I highly recommend the flat-iron steak...you won't be disappointed.
