The restaurant is located at the Westcroft District Centre. Westfriers is a modern, no-frills spot serving traditional fish 'n' chips, plus pies, pasties, sausages, and drinks. The restaurant uses quality-checked raw ingredients from known suppliers and only buys the best possible fresh fish. Westfriers Fish and Chip Shop provides lunch and dinner. You can also try their spicy scampi, fish cakes, and 1/2-lb burger. The restaurant offers takeout and wheelchair access. Westfriers has a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a car park.”

Had a takeaway from fishnchickn on Friday and it was great arrived at the shop to order and collect at what I thought would be dinner rush hour about 6pm, however everything was organised and in hand so the process was very smooth! Order 3 meals and came to £27 which was great value for a large fish and chips, jumbo sausage and large chips and a seniors fish and chips with mushy peas. Batter to the fish was light and fluffy and tasted great the pieces of fish were great and the chips were thoroughly doused in salt & vinegar as they should be. Overall great takeaway with great service and food.

Good service. Fast food prep with fresh ingredients and excellent portions. The lunchtime meal deal is very good value.

We went to Westcroft for our weekly shop and we smelt the delicious, mouthwatering smells from this chippy. We could not just leave without fish and chips! Best decision! Best chippy in town. We won't be going anywhere else from now on. Portion size was great, quality was great, service was great and the price was really reasonable. All in all, amazing and we highly recommend.

Best takeaway for a chippy tea I've found in years. The Cod is the size of a cricket bat, beautifully cooked. Chips really good. Portion sizes make it good value. Highly recommend.
