From the first meeting, during the days leading up to the funeral and on the day of our mams funeral they were professional, sympathetic to our needs and showed a genuine caring for those who have lost a loved one. Tynedale were recommended to us by a family friend. From the first phone call to Karen we knew we were in good hands. Jack dealt with all of the arrangements with such care attention and respect shown to mam. Dad was given a wonderful send off which he truly deserved. Thank you for helping us through this difficult time.

From our first call to Tynedale (answered by Karen who was absolutely lovely), Mark and his team have been excellent. Mark listened and was very patient with us, making sure we were sure about what we wanted (flowers, coffin, service etc) and he shared his expert knowledge about humanists, celebrants and the clergy, which we knew little about. Mark was professional and honest throughout. Molly was brilliant, very polite and pleasant and helped us with the techy stuff and was lovely with us at every contact. Karen continued to be helpful and kind throughout the process and on the day of the funeral Mark and his drivers were professional, friendly and kind. We have just had my Dad’s funeral today, conducted by Peter Johnson at Whiteleas Way. I have nothing but praise for the staff here. Kay was our funeral arranger and she has been so professional, kind and calm. Nothing has been an issue for her despite me feeling a nuisance at times. Jamie the funeral director was also very reassuring and kept things on track. Massive thanks to the humanist celebrant Ian Hunter who made our day with his brilliant portrayal of Dad’s life. All in all, what could have been a very sad and bland day, has turned out to be still sad at times, but overall, a fine celebration of a good man. Many thanks.

Excellent service provided by Peter Johnson. They kept me up-to-date with regular phone calls during the whole process. The funeral director also came to the house and was very gentle and kind with the whole family. I would recommend this directors to anyone after going through the difficulties of losing a loved one.

Johnson's were amazing arranging everything for my Dad's funeral, and helped us In the worst time of our life. Johnsons funeral made things simple and quick for us from start to finish, especially Saqqara who was wonderful to my Mam and myself. I can’t recommend them any higher.
