Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Food was decent enough for what was expected from a hotel bar. Rooms a little dated and ours had a slightly damp smell with a couple of stained towels found too. Could have been better in that regard but the hotel is carried by the awesome staff.

Last minute night away for my Bday, 1st time here but will most definitely be returning. Stunning hotel, beautiful grounds and very polite staff from reception to the spa. nothing too much trouble. Staff are a credit to this Hotel. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

First stay here, definitely not the last a great hotels with fantastic staff, quiet, tucked away up a long drive with stunning grounds. Only down side, the Cast Iron Grill slightly high prices, there is another part of it, called Brew Bar lounge, prices slightly more reasonable online but then we weren't offered that menu just the expensive one, but overall would recommend. Also a great base point for the North West - easy access to Blackpool, Manchester and Liverpool. Buffet Breakfast worth the money. Would def recommend a stay.

Enjoyed an overnight stay. The car park is very good. My double room was very nice, clean and spacious. It is also located next to roads and rail so can be a tad noisy and the view was nothing special. The hotel is near the local pubs and restaurants which was good for our golf society night out. The staff are very friendly and helpful on arrival, breakfast and departure. The buffet breakfast was delicious. Would advise muesli lovers to watch the dispenser as it is like a waterfall! Highly recommend if you are looking to be fairly near the local nightlife and town centre.

What a lovely hotel I have nothing negative to say, evening 3 course meal was prepared and tasted lovely very tender chicken. Staff very friendly, wearing smart uniform and very helpful. Comfortable, warm and very clean room, comfortable bed and powerful shower. Breakfast couldn't have been better, had a great choice of food which was cooked to perfection. Cleanliness was 100% I couldn't find any issues anyway though out the hotel. I would be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone, what a pleasant stay here, thank you.

Close to the city. Not too far from the motorway. Food is good. Rooms always clean and modern. Never have any problems with this hotel. Staff all friendly and helpful.
